This journal is mostly just to give a few updates as to what's been going on to the people I haven't been able to talk to lately. First off, I'm moving into my dorm this Friday (yay!), and classes start the 17th, so I will probably be even more invisible. Sorry. XD I'm super excited about it, and I have pretty much everything I need now, even though it took me forever to get it. Even better, I only have to work two days a month now! So that's kind of nice.
Now, on the not so happy part, I got into a wreck last week. XD To make a long story short, the other person made it out to be my fault at first, but after looking at the damage and the scene both my parents, my insurance company, and myself believe it to be the other person's fault, so we've been fighting to get them to either give me money to repair my car, or money to give me a new one. Ideally, the other person's insurance will capitulate (not that we can rely on that, though), or at the very least that because they lied big time on their claim that my insurance won't go up. *fingers crossed* Unfortunately, my car only had liability on it, so my insurance can't give me any money to repair it.
My dad borrowed against his 401(k), with the original intent to use it this week to get me a new car, or to get my mom a new car and then I'd use hers. Unfortunately, it just so happened that my brother's car (which we've been having problems with for some time) just decided to start causing more problems, and so now my brother either needs his car fixed or a new car. Phenomenal, right? And from what's going on, it looks like my dad's going to get the car for him first, which means that for the first few weeks of college I'll be without a car. Not so much fun.
I mean, I can manage. I'm coming home the first weekend after classes anyway to work (because the weekend I was coming back to visit ended up conflicting with a scholarship appointment), and that first week I'm not going to be leaving the campus much. I have my legs, my bike, and the campus has a really great transit system. I just don't like having to rely on other people to get me places I need to go. My dad seems to think that he can fix my car, which is fine--I love my car and if he can fix it I'd happily drive it. I drive an 1994 Infinity J30, and though it was battered a little even before the wreck it still drove wonderfully, never ever broke down on me, had wonderful AC, and I had just bought new speakers to have installed in it. I just hope he doesn't take too long if he decides to go that route.
But anyway, enough of that. Everything will work out, I'm sure. I'll just have to suck it up and deal with it.

I haven't written anything on TBF, but that doesn't mean I won't pick it up again; I've just been so busy!
My chem test went fairly well. I got a 60%--which equates to a B on his grading scale. I could have done better, but I could have done a LOT worse too. But I still have an A in the class, and my next test grades should be better, so. :3
I'll actually be in town this weekend, too, if you want to visit me. I work 8-6 on Saturday, but I'd love to see you sometime.
