So, I finally get around to writing a journal and it's in response to a chain journal. How sad is that? XD

But anyway, I got this from Mani-mas, who in turn got it from someone else, who got it from someone else, and so on. That is how these chains go, no? I would link to her profile, except that I can't for the life of me remember the code. Sorry. *shrugs*

This one is pretty simple, though, so I don't feel quite so ridiculous doing it. Essentially, she chose five words she felt described me and now I write a journal about it! The rules, unfortunately, also require me to give five words to describe anyone who asks to continue the chain. So if any of you are curious of what I think of you, ask away! (But please, no one I don't know. That would be rather silly, I think).

Anyway, the words Mani chose are listed in the journal title, and this is what I have to say in regards to them:

1. Writer: Well, this is pretty obvious. XD I write a lot (though perhaps not as much as I should, especially of late), and one day I would like to publish my own novels and become a renowned fantasy author. But as this seems a difficult path, I have a second career option in which I intend to follow (see #3).

2. Games: Again, pretty obvious. Perhaps the one thing I do more than write is game, and I love all sorts of video games (well, except for FPS and sports games, the former because I suck at them and the second because I have no care for sports whatsoever), particularly RPGs. I also like other games as well, particularly word and puzzle games, and I enjoy watching people which, to me, is also sort of a game.

3. Genetics: Ah, my other passion in life. Eventually I hope to become either a genetics researcher, engineer, or counselor. Or perhaps something in the medical field; I'm not quite sure yet. What I am sure of is that I love genetics--I think it's incredibly amazing how strands of protein can code the potential of all living beings. It's fascinated me ever since middle school, and it's been one thing that I've stayed interested in all this time.

4. Steampunk: Without a doubt one of my favorite genres, and one that is incredibly fun to write. I don't write a whole lot of steampunk myself, but some of my favorite stuff is steampunk-esque. My friend Sreya and I were even working on a very complex steampunk fantasy a while back; that project is on hold, but it was wonderfully brilliant. Perhaps I will come back to it some day.

5. Cheese: Not really sure why Mani chose this one, except that I could eat so much cheese in a day that I wouldn't be able to go to the bathroom in a week. XD Colby Jack is perhaps my favorite, but I like nearly all varieties of cheese. Except for swiss, which makes me gag. Never really knew why.

And there you have it. My entire personality summed up in five words.

On another note, I am writing, and working on a particular project, though it is coming slowly and I am not quite sure what direction it will be taking. So perhaps you might get some sort of update within the next century. Though college might get in the way with that--did I mention I start in a month? Crazy stuff.
